Sit back and take a sit in Chair Pose ("Utkatasna"), but there is no resting here! This posture is typically found at the beginning and end of a Sun Salutation "B" and is a great way to strengthen your legs and glute muscles. Shoulders and chest also find a nice opening as you reach arms up in extension. Watch the video and practice along with Shawna as she walks you through this powerful yoga posture.

Yoga
The emphasis in this hatha class is on asanas involving twisting postures and movements. Twists release tension in the spine and increase shoulder and hip mobility, thus help to create structural balance. Twists stretch and open back muscles, and in this way are great for relieving backaches. Twists rejuvenate and revitalize internal organs and glands, keeping these important systems of the body healthy and balanced. Yoga Postures include: Navasana , Sukhasana.
