Sj's passion for health has also blossomed into her teachings of Yoga. Yoga found Sarajean five years ago and left a lasting impression. A marriage of sorts occurred immediately, and Sjs soul began down the spiritual and physical path toward enlightenment through Hatha Yoga. Yoga has not left her side since their first blissful meeting. Sarajean received her Yoga Teacher Training at Kripalu School and continues to share many aspects of the Kripalu tradition with her students in a unique heated practice she calls Bala yoga. Bala is Sanskrit for strength; it is also the name of a very strengthening herb used in Ayurveda. If Sj isn't sunning her downward dog on the local mountains or running trails, she is probably hiking.
